A mother struggles to cure her child's hereditary affliction: burning down forests while asleep.
In a house set amidst thousands of hectares of fertile land, Maryam (35) struggles to cure her son of a dangerous sleeping affliction—a condition that is also a potent, innate ability passed down to every male child: the power to set the forest ablaze while asleep. These fires erupt in tandem with the worsening symptoms of the boy's condition. Refusing to give up, Maryam is eventually taken by the Village Boss to meet the Landlord, the only person who knows the solution to her son's ailment. Upon meeting him, she learns that the condition does not require a cure, but rather an outlet for the energy to be channeled.
